1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ComplyMate, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Important: ComplyMate is currently in MVP (Minimum Viable Product) status. By using this service, you acknowledge that the platform is in early development, may contain bugs or errors, and may experience service interruptions. You agree to use the service at your own risk and understand that things may go wrong. Please see Section 7 for our full disclaimer.

2. Nature of Service

ComplyMate is a reminder and notification system designed to help you remember when compliance-related tasks may need attention. Important: ComplyMate does NOT verify, check, or validate compliance status. The service provides:

  • Scheduled email reminders based on your configured preferences
  • Notification management for compliance-related tasks
  • Organization tools for tracking client websites and schedules

You are solely responsible for:

  • Actually checking and verifying compliance status of your client websites
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Taking appropriate action based on our reminders
  • Maintaining accurate compliance records

3. Use License

Permission is granted to use ComplyMate for personal or commercial compliance reminder purposes. This license does not include:

  • Modifying or copying the materials
  • Using the materials for any commercial purpose without explicit permission
  • Attempting to reverse engineer any software contained on ComplyMate
  • Removing any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials

4. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account and password
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

5. Subscription and Payment

ComplyMate operates on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay the subscription fees as specified in your chosen plan
  • Automatic renewal of your subscription unless cancelled
  • No refunds for partial months or unused portions of your subscription

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use ComplyMate:

  • In any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • To transmit any malicious code or viruses
  • To attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • To interfere with or disrupt the service or servers

7. Disclaimer

The information on ComplyMate is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim all warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

MVP Status Disclaimer: ComplyMate is currently in MVP (Minimum Viable Product) status. This means:

  • The service is in early development and may contain bugs, errors, or unexpected behavior
  • Features may change, break, or be temporarily unavailable without notice
  • Data loss, service interruptions, or technical issues may occur
  • The service may not function as expected at all times
  • We do not guarantee uptime, reliability, or data integrity
  • You should maintain backups of any important data

Compliance Verification Disclaimer: ComplyMate is a reminder and notification service only. We do NOT:

  • Verify, check, or validate the compliance status of any website
  • Confirm whether SSL certificates are valid or expired
  • Verify privacy policies, GDPR compliance, cookie banners, or accessibility standards
  • Provide legal advice or compliance verification services
  • Guarantee that compliance requirements are met

By using ComplyMate, you acknowledge and agree that you are using the service at your own risk. You are solely responsible for verifying compliance status, maintaining data backups, and taking appropriate action. ComplyMate is not liable for any compliance failures, legal issues, service interruptions, data loss, bugs, errors, or damages resulting from use of this MVP service.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ComplyMate or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit) arising out of the use or inability to use ComplyMate.

ComplyMate shall not be liable for any compliance failures, legal violations, fines, penalties, or damages resulting from your failure to verify compliance status or take appropriate action based on our reminder notifications. You acknowledge that ComplyMate is a reminder tool only and does not provide compliance verification services.
